Way-to-Go™ Navigator Now Available To Nextel Subscribers with Motorola Handsets
Clarity Communication Systems Inc.'s affordable Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) navigation system - Way-to-Go™ Navigator is now available on the Nextel nationwide packet data network to Nextel subscribers with GPS-enabled Motorola handsets.
"With Way-to-Go™ Navigator, users get turn-by-turn audible instructions, including street names and distances, allowing them to quickly navigate around traffic jams, track their progress, avoid getting lost or re-route their path," says Jim Fuentes, founder and CEO of Clarity.
Leo Modica was Clarity's lead engineer on the Navigator project, and he says, "Using advanced programming techniques, once the user has programmed in the destination, Navigator provides a unique hands-free and eyes-off user interface. This interface makes Way-to-Go Navigator™ one of the most convenient, intuitive, and functional navigation systems on the market today - one that can be used by everyone."
Clarity's Way-to-Go™ Navigator platform showcases the unique functionality of Motorola's iDEN phones and Nextel's nationwide packet data network that when combined with Way-to-Go™ Navigator's customer friendly user interface creates a valuable mobile application for Nextel subscribers.
Way-to-Go™ Navigator is the first in a series of location services products and will evolve over the next several months to include tracking and management, as well as infotainment capabilities such as Where Are My Friends.
Way-to-Go™ Navigator can be downloaded directly from the Nextel i88s or i58sr handsets or from the Nextel iDEN update website at http://www.idenupdate.com. |
